So it's been six months since the Empire relaunched and I would like to share my thoughts on how things are going.
The good first.
I love the writing and all the storylines from the jobbers all the way up to the top tier guys that hold the belts. Everyone seems to get a good share of air time on all our shows and everyone seems to have some sort of story going. I just feel good feds can't just be about the champions. You have to keep the undercard guys involved.
I love the fact that I was able (with the ok of the older guys) to utilize the older crew from the Empire from days gone by. Legacy is a great team and I can't wait to see where their storyline goes.
The PPV's are awesome. Great build-up to all of them and I am proud of all the hard work.
Our Queen of the Ring ppv was a amazing show. I wish more people would have read it, but that's the way things go.
Afterburn on Thursday nights has been a great addition to our TV schedule. It has allowed each wrestler to be on TV in the ring at least twice a month instead of the once we started with way back in January.
The men's and women's rosters are great, but we are talking about having cuts in January based on win/loss records. We want to keep the roster as challenging as possible.
The not so good.
The Women's Tag Team rosters. So, not that it's bad because I am happy with the current storyline within Exile and the troubles Medusa Complex are having; but I wish we could have more women's tag teams to give the division a spark. We do have a team coming together and you will see that in the next week or two and we are negotiating with another independent team that is mulling over joining if we meet her requirements. I guess it's gotta go both ways.
The bad.
So, I'm not really sure there is anything really bad considering where we came from six months ago to where we are now. If there is anything bad please let me know and I will try and fix it if I can. Feedback good and bad is always welcome.
Those are my thoughts, but I would like to hear what you all think. Either drop me an email or post it here.
Peace.
