Live from the sold-out Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina
Thursday Night July 29th, 2021
8:00pm EST
[ The shows opens with the Titantron showing the Empires new promo video package with all the new stars of the Empire like Alexander Stone, the Lynch Mob, the Zombie Bride Su Yim and many, many more with their high risk, high impact moves to the music of "Till I Collapse" by Eminem blasting across the arena in unison with the pyrotechnics lighting the place up. The entire arena erupts in a chorus of cheers as the show comes on air. The music and pyro's stop as the cameras fade down to our broadcast table as Mike Godwinn and “The Living Legend” Pezzer are standing by. ]
Mike Godwinn - Good evening folks and welcome to another amazing night of action right here in the World Wrestling Empire!! I am Mike Godwinn and I am joined by my broadcast colleague, and self-proclaimed Living Legend… Pezzer.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Let’s cut the small talk Mikey and get right to the meat of things. We are just three short nights away from Summer Stampede and all the superstars in the Empire are totally jacked to the moon right now in anticipation for what is going to be a five-star event!!!
Mike Godwinn – I for one cannot wait to co-host the event alongside you Pezzer. What a night it’s going to be.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – It’s about damn time they put us center stage. You and I deliver five star shows each and every week. Screw those Adrenaline guys!!!
Mike Godwinn – Folks, Summer Stampede might be three nights away, but we still have to get through tonight and what a great card we have for you and it all leads to tonight’s main-event as the World Champion Prophet teams with the former United States Heavyweight Champion Tito Escobar to take on the duo of Alexander Stone and the so-called “Face of the Empire” Travis Blake.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – We know that Travis and Stone are set to collide at Summer Stampede with a shot at the World Heavyweight title on the line!!! The upstart young superstar taking on the man that the staff built this new version of the Empire on. What a match-up.
Mike Godwinn – In other action, we will see a triple threat tag team match as the Guerillas of Destiny take on the Natural Disasters and the Zealots in what should be a huge tag team match.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – G.O.D. is walking into Summer Stampede taking on the World Tag Team Champions and we have yet to hear if they have accepted the Chain Gangs ultimatum about their rematch clauses. The Zealots are an up-and-coming team that has its eyes set on gold and the Natural Disasters honestly need this win more than the other two teams as they are just under the cut line. A loss tonight could devastate their chances of retaining a roster spot.
Mike Godwinn – We will also see in action tonight the Women’s National Champion Maria Manic take on the German powerhouse Gabby Jetson. Out of all the matches set for Summer Stampede, Maria has yet to hear who she will be facing Sunday night.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I have to think that if Gabby can get a win over Maria tonight, she will have earned herself shot at the title Sunday night.
Mike Godwinn – I would have to think that Solo darling would have something to say about that because she is ranked right about Gabby in the recent rankings that just came out. Folks, in other action tonight; we will see the World Tag Team Champions the Chain Gang take on Los Vipers in a rematch from a few weeks ago that went to a time limit draw. Tonight, both teams look to get a clear-cut victory over the other and put all doubters to bed.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Los Vipers are slowly climbing up the rankings and a win over the champions tonight will give them a huge edge in the future as the go for a World Tag Team title shot.
Mike Godwinn – Finally, we open tonight’s show with women’s tag team action as the Woke Queens take on Malia Hosaka and her protégé Genesis.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Malia has a big match at Summer Stampede as she takes on her former student Kiera Hogan and the Woke Queens, well what more can be said about their time here in the Empire? They only have one win since they signed their contracts and they are well below the cut line. It would take a miracle for them to earn a roster spot at this point.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time for the opening match. Let’s join JoJo in the ring for tonight’s opening introductions!!!
Malia Hosaka & Genesis vs The Woke Queens
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following tag team match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 290 lbs., this is… Genesis and Malia Hosaka!!!
[ The crowd boos their asses off as “Head like a hole” by Nine Inch Nails plays. Malia Hosaka and Genesis walk down to the ring and climb in. ]
Mike Godwinn – In light of the Exiles not performing as a tag team, Malia and Genesis are tagging for the first time tonight to take on the Woke Queens. I am curious to see how they work together.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I think they are going to be fine. My question is how does Malia get Genesis up for this match knowing that her future as a tag team is pretty much over as they sit below the cut line. The only shot Genesis has of staying on the roster is if Malia beats Kiera at the pay per view and then Exile wins their last two matches in August.
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 251 lbs., Debbie Kietel and Aoife Valkyrie; they are… the Woke Queens!!!
[ The crowd pops as the Woke Queens strut down to the ring to the music of “See your hands” by Viceversah. The Woke Girls roll into the ring and they play to the fans snapping their fingers to the chants of “Woke Girls!! Woke Girls!!” ]
Mike Godwinn – Pezzer, the Woke Queens are two women who never really lived up to their potential. Aoife being the veteran of the group and Debbie being the younger star never really meshed enough to make a stand in the women’s tag team division.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Math wasn’t my strong suit, but I believe they have to sweep all three of their remaining matches to earn a roster spot. They lose even one match and it’s a done deal for these two women.
[ The bell rings and Genesis charges at Debbie. Debbie uses a monkey flip on Genesis. Debbie drives a European uppercut into Genesis. Valkyrie enters the ring to make it two-on-one. She rolls her up as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Valkyrie gets her shoulder up!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I thought that Valkyrie might have swing the tide of this match, but Malia and Genesis quickly swung it back in their favor with a well-timed double team attack.
[ Malia tags out to Genesis. Genesis and Malia hit Valkyrie with a double bulldog. Malia leaves the ring. Genesis hits the 6-1-9 on Valkyrie. Genesis locks in the Crippler Crossface on Valkyrie. Valkyrie is valiantly trying to break the hold. Valkyrie tries to escape the hold. Valkyrie is barely hanging in there. Todd Sinclair checks Valkyrie's arm. He lifts it... it falls. He lifts it... it stays up! ]
Mike Godwinn – Debbie Keitel is screaming from her corner begging to be tagged into this match, but Valkyrie can’t seem to get there as she struggles to stay alive in this match!!!
[ Valkyrie gets her feet on the ropes and gets out of the hold. Valkyrie climbs to her feet and whips Genesis into the ropes. Valkyrie and Genesis each get hit with a double clothesline. Malia enters the ring to make it two-on-one. Malia nails a dropkick from the second rope on Valkyrie. Genesis hits an enzuigiri on Valkyrie. Genesis and Malia hit Valkyrie with a double 6-1-9. Valkyrie tries to throw Genesis into the turnbuckle, but Genesis reverses it and Genesis charges into the corner, but Valkyrie hits a superkick on Genesis. Valkyrie is going for the pin as she pulls the tights and Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Genesis kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That superkick cleaned Genesis’s clock right there and this may very well be the opening Valkyrie needs to get the tag to Debbie!!!
[ Valkyrie uses a Russian legsweep on Genesis. Valkyrie goes for a high knee, but Genesis ducks out of the way. Genesis runs into the ropes and drives a lariat into Valkyrie. Time of match: 0:11:27
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Malia Hosaka and Genesis!!!
Mike Godwinn – A very good win for Malia and Genesis, but it spells doom for the Woke Queens as there is no way that they can get above the cut line before the dreaded deadline.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That cut line is going to put a number of superstars out of work come Labor Day, but for the good of the Empire we need to have the very best on the roster.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, let’s go to the back as our very own Courtney Cox is standing by with the Guerillas of Destiny. ]
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Courtney Cox standing between Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga. ]
Courtney “Loves” Cox – Guys, at Summer Stampede you have yet another World Tag Team title opportunity against the champions the Chain Gang. Now they came out on Adrenaline and had a few choice words for the two of you, but at the end they issued a challenge that whoever loses this match will forfeit their rematch clause as long as the winners hold the World Tag Team titles. Your thoughts?
Tanga Loa – Our thoughts? Well let me tell you what I think. I think those two idiots are afraid of us. I think they are going to do everything they can to screw us out of the titles so that we won’t get our rightly deserved shot at them again!!!
Tama Tonga – I’ll take it from here. You two clowns want this stipulation, we’re fine with it. But don’t go complaining to Shane or Page when we not only take from you your precious titles, but your shot at a rematch because me and Tanga... we’re going to holding them for a long damn time!!!
[ The show swings back to Mike and Pezzer at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – And there you have it folks, the Guerillas have agreed to the Chain Gangs stipulation that whoever is to lose that match this Sunday night; they will never get a title shot as long as whoever wins that match is still the champions!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The one thing we are sure to see are new challengers to the World Tag Team titles. With either the Chain Gang or the Guerillas out of the picture, it will open the door for other teams to make that leap into the title picture.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, speaking of the World Tag Team Champions, they are taking on Los Vipers and it’s next. Let’s go to the ring for this huge tag team match.
The Chain Gang vs Los Vipers
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making their way to the ring being accompanied by their manager Salena, weighing in at a combined weight of 494 lbs.; Jake Owens and Eddie O’Shay; they are the reigning World Tag Team Champions, they are… the Chain Gang!!!
[ The crowd goes crazy booing as Eddie O’Shay and Jake Owens storm out on stage draped in steel chains with Salena between them all dressed in black to the music of “Chain Gang” by Crxsh. The fans boo and hiss at them as they march down to the ring and climb in. Salena stays ringside as the two men pose on the turnbuckles raising their World Tag Team title belts over their heads. ]
Mike Godwinn – And here are the World Tag Team Champions along with their manager Salena. They seemed ready for their title defense this Sunday night.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Chain Gang comes into this match with a six and five record and currently the World Tag Team Champions. They have some amazing battles with the Guerillas in the past and Sunday night wont be any less as the stakes just got even higher!!!
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents. Making their way to the ring and being accompanied by Tito Escobar, Holidead and Mil Muertes; weighing in at a combined weight of 388 lbs.; Santos and Pedro Supremo; they are… Los Vipers!!!
[ The crowd goes nuts booing as “Realeza” by Jim Johnston blares across the arena as the Mexican sensations Santos and Pedro Supremo of Los Vipers make their way out onto the stage followed by Tito Escobar and Mil Muertes. The walk down the rampway before diving into the ring under the bottom rope posing for the sold-out crowd. ]
Mike Godwinn – The Cartel are back in full force Pezzer as we saw this past Monday night when Holidead took on Amber Nova. What a huge achievement this would be if Los Vipers could upset the apple cart and get a win over the Chain Gang tonight.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Los Vipers come into this match with a four and five record, but most importantly sit in the number four hole in the World Tag Team rankings. With a win tonight, they would distance themselves even further from the Golden BoyZ who lost this past Monday night to the Hooligans who with that win crept above the cut line.

“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Man these teams are beating the hell out of each other!!! You can tell that they both have something to prove after they fought to that time limit draw last time.
[ Owens whips Santos into the ropes, but Santos reverses it and Santos and Pedro hits the Snake Bite (Supremo sit-down powerbomb followed by Santos with a leg drop off the top rope across his opponent’s throat) on Owens for the pin as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Owens gets his shoulder up!!! ]

Time of match: 0:13:42
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, the Chain Gang!!!
[ Santos bitches about a fast count as the World Tag Team Champions celebrate their victory. ]
Mike Godwinn – That was a hell of a statement match by the champions as they roll into Summer Stampede Sunday night.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – You gotta give Los Vipers credit. They have come a long way since they first arrived in the Empire. With time, I can see them wearing gold in the future.
Mike Godwinn – They are a young team with wealth of talent. Folks, I am getting word that Courtney Cox is backstage with the leader of the Gold Standard Alexander Stone. Let’s listen in.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Courtney Cox standing next to Alexander Stone. ]
Courtney “Loves” Cox – Alexander, Sunday night at Summer Stampede you are scheduled to face Travis Blake in a match where the winner will have earned themselves a World Heavyweight title shot. But tonight, you have to team with Travis in a tag team match to take on the World Champion Prophet and his partner Tito Escobar.
“Pure Gold” Alexander Stone – It seems to me that the staff loves to team guy up that can’t stand each other. And the dirt sheets said I had an ego. This kid’s head’s so big it won’t fit in the arena. And I just don’t get what all the hype is about? Yeah, he may only have lost one match; but who has he beaten? Name me one top tier guy that he’s pinned or made submit? He’s earned this title shot on the backs of jobbers and mid-card talent!!! I have been to the top of the mountain and I may not be the World champion right now, I have beaten everyone that has gotten in my way to achieve that goal again!!
[ Just then “The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake walks onto the set very cocky and full of himself. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Dude, chill. All those steroids you take is starting to make you rage against the machine.
[ Stone looks at Travis like he’s nuts. ]
“Pure Gold” Alexander Stone – What the hell are you talking about?
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Listen, let me clue you in on something. You may have been the guy that Mark, Shane and Page signed to build the foundation of this new Empire on... but I’m the horse they are going to ride for years to come after they put a bullet in your head and put you down when they are done with you. I’m the guy that’s going to propel this company back to what it once was. I’m the face of this company and you my friend, you’re old news!!!
[ Travis slaps Stone on the back and smiles at him. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – I’ll see you in the ring partner.
[ Blake walks off the set as Stone peels off his sunglasses and glares at him as he walks away. ]
“Pure Gold” Alexander Stone – Come Sunday, I’m going to kill that little shit.
[ The show swings back to Pezzer and Mike at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – And we thought their match at the pay per view was going to be good, I’m wondering if these guys are going to even make it to the pay per view after tonight’s tag team match.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – There’s plenty of heat between these two guys that have never met in the ring. Stone has been “the guy” the Empire was recreated on. Travis Blake is “the guy” that everyone is pitching their bets on to be the so-called face of the Empire’s future.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time for our next match and it pits the Women’s National Champion Maria Manic against Gabby Jetson. Talk about a match between two of the toughest women in the Empire. This should be an instant classic. Let’s go back to the ring and rejoin JoJo Rodriguez for the start of this match.
Maria Manic vs Gabby Jetson
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit!!! Making her way to the ring, weighing in at 194 lbs., she is… “The Alpha Female” Gabby Jettson!!!
[ “Fight to the Death” by Neil Myers rocks the arena as the crowd explodes to their feet as “The Alpha Female” Gabby Jettson storms out on stage and marches down to the ring climbing in!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Last week we were all shocked when Gabby attacked Nicole Matthews after their failed tag team partnership against the Heartbreakers. We have still yet to learn who put Portia Perez on the shelf.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Gabby is a very frustrated woman right now as she climbed the mountain known as Amber Nova and failed to take the Women’s title away from her not once, but twice. And then to lose that match last week made her snap as she viciously attacked Nicole. Could we be seeing a whole new side of Gabby Jetson that we haven’t seen before?

Mike Godwinn – These guys are monstrous men Pezzer. If they could just get their act together, they could make a hell of a run at the tag titles!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – First thing they need to do is get out from under Reverend Azazel. It’s such an uphill battle for them right now.

The CEO of the Empire Shane McMahon – Thank you Courtney. I have asked for this time to address two issues. The first being the Women’s National title match at the upcoming Summer Stampede pay per view event. As of today, Maria Manic didn’t have an opponent for that match. But I am very proud to announce that Maria will be defending her title against Solo Darling.
Courtney “Loves” Cox – I have to ask. With Gabby Jetson winning her match tonight, she is in a vertical tie with Solo Darling for the number one contender spot. Why was she overlooked.
The CEO of the Empire Shane McMahon – Well, that leads me to my second point. After speaking to Portia Perez, it seems that her attacker was none other than Gabby Jetson.
Courtney “Loves” Cox – My God, why?
The CEO of the Empire Shane McMahon – I have no idea. But what I do know is that at Summer Stampede it is going to be Nicole Matthews versus Gabby Jetson in a grudge match. Good luck to everyone at the pay per view.

Mike Godwinn – Travis Blake just learned what it means to play with the big boys as he not only got screwed over by Alexander Stone, but he got his ass planted by Tito Escobar and his Red Angel finisher!!!
[ Just then, the Cartel climb into the ring and back up Tito and the Prophecy climb into the ring and back of Prophet as a Mexican stand-off happens in the center of the ring as Travis Blake lays there out cold between them on the mat. ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Oh no, this is going to be bad, very, very bad!!!
[ Tito sees the World Heavyweight title belt in Prophet’s hand and smirks at him and slowly points at it. Prophet raises it up and clutches it tight to his chest as both groups just stare at each other. ]
Mike Godwinn – Folks, we gotta go!!! We will see you Sunday night at Summer Stampede!!!
[ Malia tags out to Genesis. Malia hits an Exploder suplex into the turnbuckles on Valkyrie. Genesis climbs to the top rope and hits a frog splash on Valkyrie. She rolls Valkyrie up as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Valkyrie kicks out!!! ]

[ Debbie enters the ring, but gets cut off. Malia takes Valkyrie down with a rolling DDT. Genesis again climbs to the top rope and hits a frog splash on Valkyrie!!! Genesis smiles as she rolls Valkyrie up and Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Valkyrie kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Genesis isn’t smiling anymore as Valkyrie just kicked out of two huge frog splashes!!!

Malia leaves the ring. Genesis nails Valkyrie with a top rope twisting somersault splash. Genesis tags out to Malia. Malia drives a dropkick into Valkyrie.
Genesis nails Valkyrie with a Russian legsweep. Genesis tags out to Malia. Genesis hits a bulldog on Valkyrie. Malia climbs to the top turnbuckle, but Valkyrie throws her off to the mat.

Mike Godwinn – Nicole Matthews wants blood and she wants it in the form of Gabby Jetson. I’m sure that they will collide at some point down the road!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I have to ask what Nicole meant when she said what you did to us? Is she referring to her tag team partner Portia Perez and her most recent injury?
Mike Godwinn – I have no idea, but right now we are going to go backstage where the World Heavyweight Champion Prophet has a few words to say to the fans of the World Wrestling Empire. Let’s watch and listen.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows a dark room somewhere in the arena. In the center of the room sits Prophet, his World Heavyweight title belt sitting on a pedestal next to him and his book of Prophecy on his lap. Behind his stands his two Zealots, Insanity and Painkiller with ominous looks on their faces. ]
The World Heavyweight Champion “The Messiah” “The Chosen One” Prophet – I have read the good book from cover to cover, page by page and I have come to understand the Prophecy better than anyone. It tells of a man that will rise up above all other men and bring the Empire back to the greatness not that it once was, but better than it was... and that man is me.
[ He pauses as he strokes his book. ]
The World Heavyweight Champion “The Messiah” “The Chosen One” Prophet – As I read through the great book, it foretold of a man that would betray his people. A man that portrayed himself as a false God... or should I say Go-D!!! Dave, and I will use your proper name; you are a betrayer of your own people. We can all see right through all the lies and false hope that you give the people... my people.
[ He looks over at the World Heavyweight title sitting nearby. ]

Mike Godwinn – The former champions are looking good tonight as they are just three nights away from challenging again for the World Tag Team titles.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – These guys are so confident in their abilities that they agreed to put their rematch clause aside and never challenge for the World Tag Team titles as long as the Chain Gang holds them. That’s pretty ballsy if you ask me.

Mike Godwinn – These guys are monstrous men Pezzer. If they could just get their act together, they could make a hell of a run at the tag titles!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – First thing they need to do is get out from under Reverend Azazel. He hasn’t done anything for their career and in fact, he’s got them on the verge of getting cut from the roster unless they win two out of their next three matches. It’s such an uphill battle for them right now.

Mike Godwinn – Folks, I am getting word that Courtney Cox is standing by with Shane McMahon. Let’s listen in.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Courtney Cox alongside Shane McMahon. ]
Courtney “Loves” Cox – Shane, you’ve asked for this time. The floor is yours.
Courtney “Loves” Cox – Huge news guys, back to you.
[ The show goes back to Pezzer and Mike at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – Two huge announcements coming out of the front office. The first being that Solo Darling has earned herself a title match against Maria Manic for the Women’s National title and the other is the match that has been signed between Gabby Jetson and Nicole Matthews in a grudge match.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Summer Stampede is a stacked card top to bottom. There’s not one match you can shut off and take a piss break. This is going to be three hours of intense wrestling action!!!
Mike Godwinn – Folks, we have had a great night of action, but it’s not over yet as the main event is seconds away. It’s the unlikely team-up of Alexander Stone and Travis Blake taking on Tito Escobar and the World Heavyweight Champion Prophet. JoJo, take it away my fair lady.

Mike Godwinn – I don’t get what the big attraction it is for this guy or what they see in him. He does have a very good record at five and one, but he hasn’t beaten any top tier guys yet to earn that kind of adulation.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Maybe it has nothing to do about what he’s done, but what he’s going to do and that’s being the face of the Empire. No pun intended.

He walks down to the ring and climbs in posing for his fans as a red spotlight beam’s down on him. ]
