Live from the sold-out Norfolk Scope in Norfolk Virginia
Thursday Night August 12th, 2021
8:00pm EST
[ The shows opens with the Titantron showing the Empires new promo video package with all the new stars of the Empire like Alexander Stone, the Lynch Mob, the Zombie Bride Su Yim and many, many more with their high risk, high impact moves to the music of "Till I Collapse" by Eminem blasting across the arena in unison with the pyrotechnics lighting the place up. The entire arena erupts in a chorus of cheers as the show comes on air. The music and pyro's stop as the cameras fade down to our broadcast table as Mike Godwinn and “The Living Legend” Pezzer are standing by. ]
Mike Godwinn - Good evening folks and welcome to another amazing night of action right here in the World Wrestling Empire!! I am Mike Godwinn and I am joined by my broadcast colleague, and self-proclaimed Living Legend… Pezzer.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Listen, I’m just going to say this one time; if I wanted to hear from Caristico I would ring out his mask of all the bull shit he’s been spewing.
Mike Godwinn – I don’t know what got into the two of you, but you might want to mend the fences as they say. I don’t think the bosses are going to like their announcers feuding.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Caristico can kiss my ass. Shane can kiss my ass and the big boss can kiss my ass too. If they don’t like what I’m saying they can fire me. I dare them.
Mike Godwinn – You were always the defiant one.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – You bet your ass Mikey.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, what a jammed packed show we have lined up for you tonight and it all leads up to the main event where the undefeated Kiera Hogan takes on “The Beast” Shanna Furguson in what should be one hell of a match.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The women’s division is loaded with you and up and coming talent, but there was a point in time that Shanna was that upstart and now she’s not and it pisses her off that Kiera is taking the spotlight.
Mike Godwinn – In other action we will see the Golden BoyZ take on the Hooligans once again. It seems that the Golden BoyZ can’t accept the fact that they just can’t seem to put the Hooligans away.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Hooligans are like a bunch of cockroaches. And you know what they say about cockroaches. They will be the only thing left alive after a nuclear war.
Mike Godwinn – And then we also have Arik Cannon taking on Steve Scott. It was Arik Cannon who attacked Steve Scott that led to this match.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Steve Scott is tired of being everyone’s target. First it was his old tag team partner Marc Fulton and now it’s Arik Cannon. Steve would love to be the guy to push Cannon under the cut line for good.
Mike Godwinn – I can’t wait to see that match, but there’s another match that I can’t wait to see and its Medusa Complex taking on S.E.X.!!! These two teams have collided a number of times already and they have split the series one win apiece.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – It seems Medusa Complex is out of their funk and are hitting their stride again, but what a hit the Women’s Tag Team division took this past week as Shane announced the sudden retirement of Portia Perez. We all here at the Empire wish her a speedy recovery and wish her well in her life without wrestling.
Mike Godwinn – Yes, we do. She brought so much to the Women’s Tag Team division and we can only imagine how far the Canadian Ninjas could have gone. Moving on to other matches that we will see tonight, we will see the leader of the Bullet Club Travis Blake in action as he takes on STIXX who defeated him early on in his time here in the Empire.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I’m sure that loss to STIXX still drives him crazy and he’s probably itching to pay STIXX back in kind.
Mike Godwinn – We will also feature a huge tag team match that will surely have title implications in the balance as the current World Tag Team Champions the Chain Gang take on the fast-rising Japanese superstars Yomi-no-Kuni.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Not much is known in the United States about Shogun and Rasputin, but in places like Japan and Mexico these guys are huge stars. They are now here alongside Tank to make their mark here in the Empire and they look like a force to be reckoned with.
Mike Godwinn – I would have to think that if they can upset the champions tonight, it will lead to an eventual title match in the not to distant future. Finally, we kick the night off with a huge match as Go-D opens the show off taking on “Big Mike” Bulk!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Bulk is a powerhouse that Go-D is going to have to take seriously tonight. Just the sheer mass of the man makes him a serious threat.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, let’s go to the ring and kick this show off like only Afterburn can!!!
Bulk vs Go-D
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit!!! Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by “The Messiah” Chris Simmons and “Crazy Man” Mike Thompson; he weighs in at 255 lbs., this is… Go-D!!!
[ “Unforgiven” by Creed rocks the arena as Empire Hall of Famers Go-D, Crazy Man and the Messiah walk out on stage to the roar of the sold-out crowd!!! As one, they march down to the ring and climb in. ]
Mike Godwinn – Dave comes into this match with a four and one record and has stayed in the number five spot in the World title rankings.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Yeah, but he’s not happy with that because he knows he’s been screwed over twice by Prophet when he had his shot at the World title. In order to get back in contention, he’s going to have to go through guys like Travis Blake, Alexander Stone and Psycho Messiah while watching his back for guys like Tito Escobar and this man he’s facing tonight!!!
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And his opponent. Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 484 lbs.; this is… “Big Mike” Bulk!!!
[ The sold-out crowd explodes to their feet as “Onward to Victory” by Icepick plays across the arena and the near five-hundred-pound monster “Big Mike” Bulk storms down to the ring and climbs in looking pretty pissed off. ]
Mike Godwinn – Big Mike comes into this match with a six and ten record and he’s ranked number two in the TV title rankings, but don’t take his record or ranking for granted.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Records are important, as Joey Ryan can attest to after his huge loss to Tank Monday night that cost him his roster spot. But listen, Bulk is the kind of guy that can get on a roll here in the Empire and chew right through the roster. Is he World Heavyweight material? I don’t know. But he’s the kind of guy that’s going to make his mark and guys that get in the ring with him are going to know it.

They both get to their feet and Bulk runs into the ropes, but Go-D hits Bulk with a chop block to that knee again. Go-D locks Bulk in a sleeperhold. Bulk tries to escape the hold. Bulk is inching his way towards the ropes. Bulk tries to escape the hold. Bulk finally makes it to the ropes. Go-D hits the ropes and drives a scissors kick onto Bulk leveling him. Go-D rolls up Bulk as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Bulk kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – What a scissors kick by Go-D that nearly decapitated Bulk!!!
[ Go-D whips Bulk into the ropes, but Bulk comes off and hits Go-D with a shoulder block. Bulk drags Go-D to his feet and drives a knife edge chop into his chest, but Go-D doesn't sell it. Go-D drives his own chop into Bulk. Go-D runs into the ropes and hits another chop block into Bulk’s damaged knee. Go-D runs into the ropes and hits a Shining Wizard on Bulk. Go-D sets Bulk up and hits the Hell’s Tombstone Piledriver (Tombstone Piledriver)!!! Go-D rolls Bulk up as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...3!!! ]
Time of match: 0:05:36
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Go-D!!!
Mike Godwinn – What a statement win by Go-D tonight as he took out the big man in just under six minutes!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I’ve known Dave for years, and he looks more focused than ever.
[ Go-D screams at JoJo demanding a mic. She reaches through the ropes handing him her microphone. ]
The Empire Hall of Famer Go-D – I’m done playing games. I’m done being Mr. Nice Guy. Prophet, you found a way to screw me out of the World title not once, but twice. The first time when your little Broke Back Cowgirl hit me on my damn head with that cast of his and again you screwed me at Summer Stampede when you decided to be a pussy and walk out on our match!!!
[ The sold-out crowd starts to chant “You’re a pussy!!!” “You’re a pussy!!!” “You’re a pussy!!!”. ]
Mike Godwinn – Go-D has the fans in his back pocket right now.
The Empire Hall of Famer Go-D – Prophet, I’m done with you. Get your ass out here and put that title on the line!!!
[ Go-D paces around the ring like a wild dog when suddenly, “Scars that I'm Hiding" by Ashes to New rocks the arena and Travis Blake and the Guerillas of Destiny walk out and make their way down to the ring. ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I’ve got a bad feeling about what we are about to see. The Bullet Club and Legacy are going to be face to face!!!
[ Travis and the Guerillas climb into the ring, as Simmons and Thompson do the same thing standing behind Go-D. Go-D smiles at Travis. ]
The Empire Hall of Famer Go-D – You’re kidding me, right? This is some kind of joke? I said I wanted the World Heavyweight Champion, not the “Ass of the Empire”.
[ Go-D and Legacy get a good laugh as Travis nods with a smile on his face. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Very funny Dave. You and your boys got a good laugh? Well, let me tell you something that isn’t funny. It’s the fact that you really think that you deserve another shot at the World Heavyweight title. It’s the fact that you blew not just one, but two shots at Prophet. Old man, it’s time to pass the baton to someone more worthy of a title shot, and that’s... me!!!
The Empire Hall of Famer Go-D – You? Really, you? What makes you think that you’re worthy of a title shot over me? I was winning World titles while you were finger fucking Girl Scouts in the basement of your house!!!
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Look at the rankings old man!!! It’s me up here...
[ And Travis raises his hand high in the air. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – And you’re down here...
[ And he lowers his hand down to waist level. Go-D smirks as he gets right in Travis’ face. ]
The Empire Hall of Famer Go-D – Do you think I give two shits where you are... or where I am... in those pathetic rankings? I’ll go right through all of you to get what I rightfully deserve!!!
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – I’ll tell you what you deserve Dave...
[ Travis smirks at Go-D as he raises his hands in the air pointing to finger guns at his head. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Stay out of my way Dave, or I’ll be forced to; no, I will put you down once... and for all!!!
[ The Bullet Club smirks as they leave the ring leaving Legacy standing there watching them leave. ]
Mike Godwinn – What a huge statement by the leader of the Bullet Club putting Go-D on notice that if he’s going to go after the World title again, he’s going to go through him first.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – What a match that would be. Two of the top five superstars in the Empire battling it out for a shot at Prophet and his World title!!! I can’t wait to see that.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, let’s go to the back where Tank is meeting with Godzilla Sanchez.
[ The show swings to the back where we see Tank, Rasputin, Shogun and Godzilla Sanchez in their dressing room. ]
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Listen man, I appreciate what you did for us at Summer Stampede, but I’m still a little foggy as to why you’re hear? I thought things were going good for you in Mexico.
Godzilla Sanchez – It is going well. But I turned on the TV and I saw what you and... whoever these two guys are...
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Rasputin and Shogun. You never heard of Yomi-no-Kuni?
Godzilla Sanchez – Are they Chinese?
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Chinese? What... no they are Japanese. You know what, never mind. So, what was all of that on Adrenaline when you came out to the ring in that Undertaker outfit?
Godzilla Sanchez – It was great right? So cool.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Yeah, cool was one way of putting it. But why?
Godzilla Sanchez – I just felt bad for Joey Ryan. He deserved a classic send-off, you know? Something that he could tell his grandkids about someday.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Listen buddy. I know your hearts in the ring place and you want to help and everything...
Godzilla Sanchez – Yup, I’ve got your back.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – That’s great. But Rasputin and Shogun, their match is next and well; they want you to stay in the back.
Godzilla Sanchez – Stay in the back? They don’t want me out there?
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Listen, don’t take it personal. They don’t really know you yet. Once they get to know you, I’m sure that...
Godzilla Sanchez – Dane and Ness trusted me.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Yeah, they did...
Godzilla Sanchez – Your ex-wife trusted me.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Yeah...
Godzilla Sanchez – There was this one night in Chicago...
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – You know, let’s not reminisce about my ex-wife ok.
Godzilla Sanchez – She was hot. I can say that now that you’re divorced right.
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Listen...
Godzilla Sanchez – What a set of...
The United States Heavyweight Champion “The Monster” Tank Edge – Godzilla!!! Focus. We’re up. Just stay here, ok.
[ Godzilla looks sad as he watches Tank, Rasputin and Shogun walk off. ]
Godzilla Sanchez – ok.
[ The show swings back to Mike and Pezzer at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – Pezzer, you’ve got a storied past with Godzilla Sanchez. What’s going through the mind of Godzilla?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That little rat screwed me out of the E.C.W. TV title back in the day and I’ll never forgive him for that. As for what’s going on in his head... nothing. That skull of his is full of rocks.
Mike Godwinn – I guess you’re the wrong guy to ask. Folks, let’s go back to the ring for this huge tag team match-up.
Yomi-no-Kuni vs The Chain Gang ©

[ The crowd goes crazy booing as Eddie O’Shay and Jake Owens storm out on stage draped in steel chains with Salena between them all dressed in black to the music of “Chain Gang” by Crxsh. The fans boo and hiss at them as they march down to the ring and climb in. Salena stays ringside as the two men pose on the turnbuckles raising their World Tag Team title belts over their heads. ]
Mike Godwinn – And here are the World Tag Team Champions. They have held the World Tag Team titles for over three months. It’s been a hell of a run for these two men, but the competition has stepped up and it’s going to get tougher for them.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I couldn’t agree more. Even with the loss of the Koloff Dynasty, there are still teams like the Zealots, Legacy and the two men they are facing tonight that are going to challenge them in the weeks and months ahead!!!

“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match by submission, Yomi-no-Kuni!!!
Mike Godwinn – What an incredible win by these two young superstars that are so far from home!!! This is a huge win for them as they make their move for the World Tag Team titles!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Chain Gang better get their shit together because this is one loss they sure as hell didn’t need tonight. This just makes it that much more crowded at the top of the rankings.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, I’m getting word that Travis Blake has a few words for STIXX before his match. Let’s listen in.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Travis Blake in the back alongside Paul Heyman, Amber Nova and the Guerillas of Destiny. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – STIXX, let’s flash back to June 10th right here on Afterburn. I had you beat. I had you pinned six times in that match!!! Six times you found a way to kick out!!! Now, I give you credit big man, you’re one tough son of a bitch. But since that night, our careers have gone in two very different directions. I’m now five and one and am the number three ranked superstar for the Worlds Heavyweight title.
[ Travis stops and kisses Amber as she rubs his chest. ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – You, boogie man; you’re a pathetic six and eight and is barely a conversation piece when it comes to title matches. Yeah, you may have that crazy leather mask; but at the end of the day no mask is going to protect you from the Weapon X!!! Tonight, I show the whole world that when you beat me two months ago, that it was nothing more than a fluke!!! A blip on the radar!!! An off night for the Face of the Empire!!! Tonight, I put a bullet in your head!!!
[ Amber Nova blows at kiss at STIXX wherever he is watching as the Bullet Club storms off the set and head to the ring as the show swings back to Mike and Pezzer ringside. ]
Mike Godwinn – It seems like Travis Blake is going to try and get us all to forget that he ever lost to STIXX.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I would like to forget that Travis Blake ever joined the Empire. What’s up with this egotistical little shithead?
Mike Godwinn – He may be a cocky little shit, but there’s no denying his ability in the ring; not to mention the fact that he did put Alexander Stone on the shelf. Let’s go to the ring for this huge rematch.
Travis Blake vs STIXX
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making his way to the ring weighing in at 235 lbs., he is… STIXX!!!
[ The crowd goes nuts booing as “Break” by Three Days Grace plays as the crazy British superstar marches down to the ring. ]
Mike Godwinn – Like Travis said, STIXX comes into this match with a six and eight record and luckily no matter how this match goes has locked down a roster spot for the rest of the year.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I like STIXX. He brings that mix of power and agility to the table that you look for in a champion. I can see him challenging for either the TV or US title in the next few months.
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And his opponent. Making his way to the ring weighing in at 175 lbs, he is "The Face of the Empire”, this is… Travis Blake!!!
[ The crowd boos as “Scars that I'm Hiding" by Ashes to New rocks the arena as Travis walks out on stage with his black leather jacket on along with his two-hundred-dollar Ray-Ban’s. He struts down to the ring, climbs up onto the ring apron and whips his jacket open showing off his solid six pack ab’s!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Shocking enough, Travis doesn’t come out to the ring with his entourage.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Yeah, but don’t worry; if shit goes sideways, you know as well as I do that the Guerillas are on standby in the backstage area.

“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Travis Blake!!!
Mike Godwinn – Travis Blake has done exactly what he said he was going to do and that’s put down STIXX tonight.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This kid’s a five-tool superstar. The only thing I question is his size as he takes on some of the larger heavyweights in the Empire like Stone and Tank. Can he hang with them long enough to pull out a victory?
Mike Godwinn – Folks, let’s take it to the back where our very own Cindy Meyers is standing by with the TV champion Psycho Messiah. ]
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Cindy Meyers standing uncomfortably next to the WWE TV champion Psycho Messiah. ]
Cindy Meyers – Messiah, first off; congratulations on your big win at Summer Stampede when you defeated three other men to retain your TV title.
The WWE TV Champion Psycho Messiah – It was a hell of a fight, but there was no reason why I should have even been in a match like that. Shane has got something against me, I know he does. He can’t stand the fact that I got the TV title and he continues to stack the deck against me every time I turn around.
Cindy Meyers – Looking ahead to Lethal Lottery, you along with the rest of the champions have no idea who to prepare for going into that match and on-top of that, each match will be a no DQ where there will be winners no matter what.
The WWE TV Champion Psycho Messiah – Fine by me. I fear nobody on this roster...
[ Just then, “The Outlaw” Chandler Hopkins walks onto the set. ]
“The Outlaw” Chandler Hopkins – Well look at what we got here. The flash in the pan TV champ is bitching and moaning again about how Shane is out to get him or how Shane screwed him.
The WWE TV Champion Psycho Messiah – What’s your problem Chandler?
“The Outlaw” Chandler Hopkins – What’s my problem? My problem is that you got my belt and you sound like a little bitch.
The WWE TV Champion Psycho Messiah – Is that so? Your belt? I don’t see this belt around your waist, do I?
“The Outlaw” Chandler Hopkins – That’s just fine, for now; but soon... very soon... I’m coming to take that belt back. I beat Steve Scott to become the number one contender, and it just may be at Lethal Lottery; but rest assured when it happens... you’re going to feel the Wrangler.
[ Hopkins shows off his cast on his right arm and smirks at him as the show swings back to the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – Psycho Messiah has a hell of a road in-front of him as he not only has to face an unknown opponent at the upcoming Lethal Lottery pay per view, but if he ends up retaining the title, he has a date with the former Television champion Chandler Hopkins who is hell bent on getting his title back.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Hopkins so far is the longest reigning TV champion since the Empire re-opened and the only reason he’s still not the champion is the fact that Raven Horse cheated him out of the title. In some twisted way, this is payback for getting screwed.
Mike Godwinn – That’s one way of looking at it. Folks, it’s time for more tag team action as the Women’s Tag Team division takes center stage as Medusa Complex takes on S.E.X.!!! Let’s join JoJo back in the ring for tonight’s introductions!!!

Mike Godwinn – This match came about when S.E.X. didn’t appreciate it when Millie McKenzie called Caged Heat and the Heartbreakers two of the best teams in the Women’s Tag Team division.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – S.E.X. is pissed off and they are out to prove that they deserve to be a serious contender. In order to be taken seriously, they are going to have to beat Medusa Complex and in three attempts, they only have pulled it off once.

“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Medusa Complex!!!
Mike Godwinn – It wasn’t easy, but Medusa Complex put down S.E.X. once again and they continue their winning ways.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Actually, it was a lot easier than what it seemed because Katie saved Spice’s ass so many times, I think I lost count. And let’s be honest, maybe S.E.X. are finally showing their true colors and they really aren’t as good as we all thought?
Mike Godwinn – This loss drops them to four and five and cripples their chances for a title shot any time in the near future. Folks, while this match was going on, our cameras caught up with the General Manager of the Empire Diamond Dallas Page backstage and well... something very interesting went down. Just watch and see. ]
[ The videotron comes on as it shows the General Manager of the Empire DDP walking around backstage when Courtney Cox walks up to him. ]

Courtney “Loves” Cox – I can do this!!! I can wrestle. I want a shot at Gabby!!!
The General Manager of the Empire DDP – Gabby? Kid, really? She’s an animal.
Courtney “Loves” Cox – I want to beat her ass!!!
The General Manager of the Empire DDP – Kid, I know what it feels like to be beaten up by someone twice your size. But you’ve got no training and well, to be honest; I really don’t think wrestling is your calling.
Courtney “Loves” Cox – really? My calling? Are you kidding me? I’ll prove you wrong!!!
[ DDP rolls his eyes as Courtney storms off pissed at him for not giving her a shot. ]
Mike Godwinn – I have to be honest. I heard about this during the last match and I was stunned. Why would Courtney want to put her life on the line against a monster like Gabby Jettson when she’s got a cushy job as a backstage interviewer?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The kids got heart I give her that. Not too smart, but she’s got heart. Give her a shot and if she sucks you can give her, her old job back!!!
Mike Godwinn – Interesting times here in the Empire. Folks, it’s time for our next big match as Steve Scott takes on Arik Cannon. This match came about when Cannon attacked Steve in the ring after his match with Chandler Hopkins. Personally, I would hate to be Cannon tonight. Let’s rejoin JoJo in the ring for the opening introductions of this match.
Steve Scott vs Arik Cannon
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making his way to the ring, weighing in at weight of 200 lbs.; this is… “Bloodlust” Steve Scott!!!
[ The crowd cheers as Steve Scott walks out on stage to “The Nobodies” by Marilyn Manson. Pyro explodes around him as he makes his way to the ring and climbs in!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Steve has that determined look on his face tonight as he paces around the ring like a wild animal.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This guy took that sneak attack by Cannon very personally. It’s like Cannon awoke some sort of crazed creature inside of Steve Scott.
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And his opponent!!! Making his way to the ring weighing in at 210 lbs., he is… “The Irish Ass-kicker” Arik Cannon!!
[ Love him or hate him, the crowd does love his entrance music as “I’m shipping up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphy’s rings across the stadium as the red headed Irish fighter marches down to the ring pissed off with his hands all taped up. He stomps up the stairs and climbs through the ropes ripping his leather jacket off and tossing it to the ringside attendant. ]
Mike Godwinn – Looking at Cannon’s record, he needs to win tonight just to earn another match in the next few weeks which he will also win just to stay on the roster. It’s a tough road, and it all starts tonight against Steve Scott.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I’ve always been a fan of Arik Cannon. I was rooting against him when he had his World title match against Alexander Stone. But the losses piled up and he’s in a really tough spot right now. It’s win and move on or lose and go home!!!

[ Arik Cannon runs into the ropes, but Steve Scott quickly recovers and hits Arik Cannon with a back body drop. Steve springs up to the second rope, motions for Cannon to get his ass up and then leaps off hitting Cannon with the Kill Shot (diving DDT from the second rope)!!! Time of match: 0:01:49
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Steve Scott!!!
Mike Godwinn – Steve Scott went right at Arik Cannon tonight and put him down rather quickly. Unfortunately, it’s all over for Cannon because with this loss tonight; there’s no way that he’s going to be able to stay over the cut line!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That’s the way this business goes Mikey. Nobody wants to pay for sub-par talent and it seems that Arik Cannon peaked early and then his career here in the Empire crashed and burned. He tried everything to turn it around, but nothing helped. Let’s hope he can land a job on the independent scene.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, Cindy Meyers is standing by with the former United States Heavyweight Champion Tito Escobar. Let’s go to the back and listen in to what he has to say.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Cindy Meyers standing next to Tito Escobar. ]
Cindy Meyers – Tito, it has been a rough number of weeks for you as you not only lost your United States title rematch against Tank at Summer Stampede, but last week the Bullet Club came down to the ring during your match against the Devil’s Rejects and attacked you and the rest of the Cartel.
[ Tito raises his hand shutting Cindy up. ]
“Relentless” Tito Escobar – Let me start with Tank. The man did not beat me. He did not pin me. He did not make me tap out and therefore that rematch means nothing to me. I will get my title back. I will be the Mexican Heavyweight champion again.
Cindy Meyers – And what about Mil Muertes being cut from the roster? That had to be a huge blow to the Cartel.
“Relentless” Tito Escobar – Losing any man with the ability of Mil Muertes is going to hurt the Cartel. But we are the Cartel!!! We don’t make excuses and we eliminate all the competition and that includes the Bullet Club.
Cindy Meyers – What are your thoughts on the Bullet Club moving forward?
“Relentless” Tito Escobar – I respect guys like the Guerillas of Destiny, and there’s no doubt that Amber Nova is the best Women’s wrestler on the roster until someone dethrones her. But Travis Blake? The Face of the Empire?
[ Tito looks dead in the camera. ]
“Relentless” Tito Escobar – You like bullets, amigo? I’ve got a bullet with your name on it and in Mexico... they’ll never find your body after I put you down!!!
[ Tito walks off the set as the show goes back to Mike and Pezzer at ringside. ]
Mike Godwinn – This is serious Pezzer. These guys are talking about shooting each other. Is this what the ownership group wants to promote right now?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Listen cup cake. These guys aren’t talking about real bullets. But they are talking about taking each other out by whatever means necessary. I can’t wait to see where this feud between the Bullet Club and the Cartel takes us.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time for another big-time tag team match as the Hooligans and the Golden BoyZ go at it again. JoJo, take it away partner.
The Golden BoyZ vs The Hooligans
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following tag team match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 462 lbs., Reno and Scum; they are… the Hooligans!!!
[ The crowd doesn’t know whether to boo or cheer these two odd individuals as “We are Scum” by Reno and Scum blares across the arena as the tag team duo of Reno and Scum make their way down to the ring and climb in, pacing around waiting for their opponents. ]
Mike Godwinn – I have to tell you that recently the Hooligans have been busting their asses and stunning the tag team division with the way they are wrestling.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Listen, these guys are straight up brawlers. They are not going to be flashy and they are not going to stun you with crazy ass moves. They are going to walk up to you, punch you in the pie hole and see what you’re going to do about it.
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents!!! Making their way to the ring being accompanied by their manager “The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran, and weighing in at a combined weight of 393 lbs., Jake and Dave Anderson; they are… The Golden BoyZ!!
[ The crowd goes crazy booing as "Let's Go All the Way" by Insane Clown Posse rocks the arena as the two brothers strut out on stage and make their way down to the ring. ]
Mike Godwinn – These two men have seen their careers taking a downward turn so they went out and hired Tony Tran to manage them. That in itself has been a questionable move seeing that they really haven’t done much since they signed with him.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Like him or hate him, Tony Tran knows how to win. The guys a five-time champion and he’s one of the few men to hold the Emperor’s Crown title back in the day. These guys could learn a thing or two from him. We just have to wait and see how this plays out.

Mike Godwinn – Shocking enough, Travis doesn’t come out to the ring with his entourage.

[ The bell rings and they lock up. STIXX uses a facerake on Travis Blake. STIXX catches Travis Blake in a chokehold in the corner as Yali Sapphire warns STIXX to let go. Yali Sapphire counts ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4 ...4 ½ ...and he lets go before getting DQ’d. ]

Medusa Complex © vs S.E.X.

[ “Tattooed Angel” rocks the arena as the two women walk down to the ring hand in hand. They climb into the ring and start making out feeling each other up until the referee has to break them up and remind them that kids are watching!!! ]
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 234 lbs., Charli Evans and Millie McKenzie; they are the current and reigning Three-time Women’s World tag Team Champions… they are Medusa Complex!!
[ “Living Dead Girl” by Rob Zombie rocks the arena as the fans cheer on the very popular Medusa Complex. The two women make their way to the ring and climb in showing off their Women’s World Tag Team titles!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Here are the champions Pezzer. They went through a period of time where they were struggling to pick up a win, but they have seemed to have gotten past that and are back on the right track.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – There’s a reason why these women are three-time champions. They have heart. They have grit. And they refuse to quit!!! S.E.X. is going to wish they never barked up this tree tonight.
