Live from the sold-out Union Arena in Woodstock, Vermont
Thursday Night September 16th, 2021
8:00pm EST
[ The shows opens with the Titantron showing the Empires new promo video package with all the new stars of the Empire like Alexander Stone, the Lynch Mob, Su Yim and many, many more with their high risk, high impact moves to the music of "Till I Collapse" by Eminem blasting across the arena in unison with the pyrotechnics lighting the place up. The entire arena erupts in a chorus of cheers as the show comes on air. The music and pyro's stop as the cameras fade down to our broadcast table as Mike Godwinn and “The Living Legend” Pezzer are standing by. ]
Mike Godwinn - Good evening, folks and welcome to another amazing night of action right here in the World Wrestling Empire!! I am Mike Godwinn and I am joined by my broadcast colleague, and self-proclaimed Living Legend… Pezzer.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That’s right true believers, the best damn wrestling show is back on the air and don’t you ever forget it!!!
Mike Godwinn – Pezzer, what a great night of action it was this past Monday night on Adrenaline as we saw Amber Nova retain her Women’s National Championship against the very talented Su Yim.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Su Yim took Amber to the limit, but at the end of the match Amber Nova once again...
[ The crowd boos their asses off as “Creepy” plays over the crowd noise. The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova struts out showing off her Women’s World title belt alongside her manager Paul Heyman who cradles the Women’s National title in his hands. She flaunts herself off as she struts down to the ring and climbs in raising both titles high overhead. ]
Mike Godwinn – Bullet Club member and arguably the most dominant female wrestler on the Empire’s roster seems to have something on her mind.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Let’s not kid ourselves, we all know what this is about and her name is Lady Edge.
[ Amber grabs the mic away from JoJo Rodriguez and motions for her to get the hell out of the ring. Amber waits for the boos to die down before she begins. ]
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – You know, for months now I’ve not just been beating the women on this roster I’ve been dominating all of them!!!
[ Amber chuckles as she looks away for second, and then right back at the camera... ]
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – There’s not one veteran woman on this roster that I haven’t beaten yet and now... now Gail Kim... the so-called Women’s Division General Manager has decided the best thing to do for this company is to feed me the rookies on the roster? Smart move Gail. Way to destroy these women’s careers early on!!!
[ You can see the anger in Amber’s eyes as she leans in closer to the camera... ]
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – Keep feeding the monster and I will devour this company and leave nothing but broken bodies in my...
[ “Puppet on a String” rocks the arena and everyone in the stadium explodes to their feet as former Women’s World Champion and current Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim walks out on stage!!! ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Amber... listen sweetie...
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – Listen... to you? The only thing I want to hear out of you is who’s next!!!
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Next for you is Kiera Hogan, tonight; when you defend your Women’s World title.
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – That’s funny. Sending the rookies at me hoping that one of them captures lighting in the bottle? There’s a better chance I’ll break my leg walking out to the ring
[ Amber and Heyman get a good laugh out of that comment as Gail waits for them to stop laughing... ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – You know Amber, you are arguably the best female wrestler on the roster. And yes, you have defeated most of the women here in the Empire; but to think that you are the best female wrestler to ever wrestle in the Empire... well that’s bullshit and you know it.
[ The crowd pops as they start to chant... “BULLSHIT!!!” “BULLSHIT!!!” “BULLSHIT!!!” ]
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – What? Are you kidding me? Are you talking about that freak Lady Edge? Is that the best you can drag out of the closet?
[ Gail smiles as she looks down at the ring. ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – The best I could do... no... no... no... sweetie. She’s not the best I could do. There were plenty of women that called me about coming back to the Empire to kick your ass...
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – Kick my ass? Now that’s rich.
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – But what Lady Edge wants to do to you... well it’s beyond that. She wants to punish you... she wants to shame you... she wants to destroy you from the inside out and shut you up for good!!!
The Women’s World Champion and Women’s National Champion “The Perfect 10” Amber Nova – Stop bullshitting me and all your precious fans. We all know this is about my titles. We all know they want one last run at greatness in my shadow!!! One last payday so that they don’t have to sign autographs at the local bingo hall!!!
[ Gail smiles as she looks away for a second and then back at Amber... ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – You see Amber, that’s where you’re wrong. For Lady Edge, this has nothing to do with either of your titles. This is about you... and the disrespect you continue to spew about the current and former women that built that ring that you now stand in. So, just to end this banter between you and I so that we can get on with the show... however this match goes tonight, you will fight Lady Edge at Stable Wars... and God have mercy on your soul!!!
[ Amber Nova looks pissed as Paul Heyman tries to calm her down. ]
Mike Godwinn – What a huge announcement regarding the upcoming Stable Wars pay per view. No matter what happens tonight in regards to Amber Nova and Kiera Hogan’s World title match, Amber Nova will face Lady Edge at the pay per view; like it or not!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Now Amber doesn’t only have to worry about Kiera tonight, but she knows that crazy Lady Edge is somewhere in the building.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, we talked about tonight’s main event; but we also have another huge match and it is a six-man tag team match where the winners will advance to Stable Wars to take on Edge Legacy in the semi-finals for the World Six-man Tag Team titles!!! Monday night we all watched as Edge Legacy defeated the Cartel to advance to the pay per view.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Edge Babies found their nut Monday night and beat a Cartel team that obviously looked past them. Every once and a while, a blind squirrel finds a nut. Monday night, The Edge Babies found their nut. Let’s see if these kids balls have dropped when they have to climb into the ring against either the Prophecy or Sensha-gun!!!
Mike Godwinn – What a clash we could see if Tank Edge has to face off against his own son Conner with the World Six-man Tag Team titles on the line!!! In other action tonight, we are going to see two of the top women in the Empire collide head long as Solo Darling looks to cement her place at the top of the rankings as she goes one on one against the “Queen of the Ring” Millie McKenzie!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Solo is coming off her lose at the pay per view to Amber Nova and has already set her sights on the biggest prize in the women’s division and that the Women’s World title. The problem is, the upstart Millie McKenzie stands in her way and tonight she looks to take this young woman down and grab the brass ring.
Mike Godwinn – In singles action tonight, we are going to see the leader of the Bullet Club in Travis Blake take on the leader of the Million Dollar Dream Team in Tony Tran go at it in what should be an epic clash of two huge egos.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – And in the Empire right now there aren’t two bigger egos than Tony Tran and Travis Blake. Travis Blake, the leader of the ever-dangerous Bullet Club and Tony Tran, the leader of the Million Dollar Dream Team. Tonight, Tony Tran looks to put down the hottest superstar on the roster and pick-up his first win in singles competition; other than the “Last Chance Battle Royal” that is.
Mike Godwinn – This should be good. In other action, we are going to see the Heartbreakers; who were just named the number one competitor for the Women’s World Tag Team titles at Stable Wars take on the former two-time Women’s World Tag Team Champions Caged Heat.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Caged Heat is coming off a very good win over Bloody Mary and Havok last week on Afterburn where we all witnessed Havok get injured shelving her for six to eight weeks. A win over the Heartbreakers tonight may not get them a title shot right now, but it will open everyone’s eyes and show the entire Women’s Tag Team Division that the former champions are not laying down for anyone.
Mike Godwinn – In tag team action on the men’s side of the house we are going to see the Lynch Mob in action as they take on the former World Tag Team Champions the Chain Gang.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Chain Gang find themselves falling like a brick in the rankings having not won a match in seven weeks. If they don’t win tonight, they might have to make some serious career choices here and I would start with Salena. Get rid of the excess baggage in my honest opinion.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time to kick the show off with a rematch between Boris Drago and Godzilla Sanchez that ended in a no-contest when the Bullet Club attacked both men making a very loud statement to Tank Edge.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Travis Blake keeps pushing Tank’s buttons he’s going to find his face on the receiving end of Tank’s massive fist and that’s a place where I have been a few times and it isn’t much fun.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time to kick this show off in grand fashion and we are about to get a treat.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – A treat? I’m always in the mood for a treat. What is... what the fuck?
[ The crowd goes wild as “Godzilla” by Blue Oyster Cult starts up and Godzilla Sanchez walks out armed with a tee-shirt cannon!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – You have got to be shitting me!!! Is he pushing his own tee-shirt line now?
[ The crowd goes wild as they beg him to fire off tee-shirts in their direction. One tee-shirt in particular bounces around and lands on the announcers table where Mike Godwinn grabs it holding it up showing off Godzilla’s huge smiling headshot with the word “Pisces” spelled out under it. ]
Mike Godwinn – This is great. Godzilla just tapped into a money maker Pezzer. Do you know how much money he can...?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Do you think I give two shits what this ass-hat thinks he can make by selling these cheesy tee-shirts? This ass-clown shouldn’t even be in the Empire. This waste of talent is taking up a roster spot.
[ Godzilla climbs into the ring and continues to fire off his tee-shirt gun until he only has one tee-shirt left. The crowd gives him a standing ovation as he raises the cannon in the air. ]
Godzilla Sanchez vs Boris Drago
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Currently in the ring, weighing in at 170 lbs.; he is… Godzilla Sanchez!!
Mike Godwinn – I have to tell you, he might be a few apples short of a fruit basket, but this guy sure as hell knows how to make an entrance. These people love him.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I used to have respect for the people up here in Vermont, but this makes me question if they have a head full of rocks. How can they cheer for a guy like this?
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And his opponent. Making his way to the ring, weighing in at 245 lbs., he is… “The Russian Bear” Boris Drago!!
[ The fans boo as “Far from the start” by Timati and L’One plays as the Russian monster walks out on stage with to the boos of the sold-out crowd. He storms down to the ring and climbs in never taking his eyes off of his opponent. ]
Mike Godwinn – Boris comes into this match with a five and eight record and is ranked number two for the TV title. The last time these two men met in the ring the match broke down pretty quickly as the fight spilled to the outside and get pretty brutal.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Boris needs this win tonight to get back on track. His last win coming over a month ago when he made STIXX tap out.
[ The bell rings and Boris roars at Godzilla like a rabid animal. Boris charges right at Godzilla, who screams in fear and fires off his last tee-shirt in-which nails Boris in the balls!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Did I just hear Godzilla scream like a little girl?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – He just shot Boris in his private parts!!! He should be disqualified for that!!!
[ Boris Drago bends over in pain holding his nut sack as Godzilla Sanchez bounces off the ropes and hits a bulldog on him!!! Godzilla goes for the cover kicking his feet wildly trying desperately to keep Boris down as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Why did the referee even allow that buffoon to pin Boris? This match should be over!!! He shot the man for Christ’s sake!!!
[ Godzilla Sanchez grabs Boris by the feet and spreads his legs apart to the roar of the crowd cheering him on before he kicks Boris in the balls again and locks Boris in a figure-four leglock!!! Boris Drago's shoulders are on the mat as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris shoots his shoulder up in time!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Boris has a big target on him right now and it’s his smallest body part!!!
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This referee should be fired. First Godzilla shoots Boris in the nuts and then he kicks him in the same spot. Todd Sinclair should be out of a job!!!
[ Boris Drago finally manages to grab the ropes. Godzilla Sanchez hits a corner sit out power bomb on Boris Drago. Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris gets his shoulder up!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Godzilla has been in control of this match from the start, but that’s only because this little shit head cheated!!!
[ Godzilla Sanchez hits a cannonball senton on Boris Drago in the corner. Godzilla Sanchez is going for the pin as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Boris is digging deep right now to kick out of the fourth pin attempt by Godzilla tonight!!!
[ Godzilla Sanchez runs into the ropes, but Boris Drago hits Godzilla Sanchez with a spin kick. Boris Drago uses a waistlock takedown on Godzilla Sanchez. Boris Drago goes for an Exploder suplex, but Godzilla Sanchez blocks it. Godzilla Sanchez attempts a cradle piledriver, but Boris Drago counters it with a small package roll-up as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Godzilla kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Godzilla tried to put Boris away with that Cradle Piledriver, but Boris was smart enough to pull off that small package roll-up to counter it.

Godzilla Sanchez goes for a springboard diving European uppercut, but Boris Drago steps out of the way. Boris Drago covers Godzilla Sanchez and uses the ropes for leverage as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...and Godzilla kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – You bitched and moaned about Godzilla cheating, but you’re not saying much right now after Boris just used the ropes to help pin Godzilla.
[ Boris Drago attempts a Samoan Drop, but Godzilla Sanchez counters it with a backslide crucifix pin attempt and Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Boris went for that big Samoan Drop but Godzilla still had enough life left in him to counter it and slide down Boris’ back and put Boris into another pin attempt.
[ Godzilla Sanchez hits a top rope springboard leaping swinging DDT on Boris Drago. Godzilla Sanchez covers Boris Drago as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Godzilla is beside himself right now not having a clue what it’s going to take to put Boris away. He just spiked the man right on the crown of his head and he still kicked out.
[ Godzilla Sanchez throws Boris Drago out of the ring. Godzilla Sanchez springboards onto him with a top rope corkscrew moonsault plancha and the crowd goes wild!!! Godzilla Sanchez rams Boris Drago into the steel ringpost. ...1 ...Godzilla Sanchez tries for a back heel kick, but Boris Drago counters it with a low blow. ...2 ...Boris Drago goes for the Iron Curtain (A full nelson submission), but Godzilla Sanchez blocks it. ...3 ...Boris Drago drives Godzilla Sanchez into the ring apron. ...4 ...Boris Drago slams Godzilla Sanchez onto the steel ringsteps. ...5 ...Boris Drago hits a takeover suplex on Godzilla Sanchez. ...6 ...Boris Drago throws Godzilla Sanchez into the steel guardrail. ...7 ...Boris Drago attempts a belly-to-belly suplex, but Godzilla Sanchez counters it with a kidney punch. ...8 ...Godzilla Sanchez throws Boris Drago back into the ring. Godzilla Sanchez hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Boris Drago for the win as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – What a sit-out powerbomb better known as the Blue Thunder Bomb by Godzilla and Boris still managed to kick out.
[ Godzilla Sanchez nails Boris Drago with a swinging spike DDT. Godzilla Sanchez hits a basement European uppercut on Boris Drago. Godzilla Sanchez goes for a roundhouse kick, but Boris Drago counters it with a legsweep takedown. Boris Drago nails Godzilla Sanchez with a lariat. Boris Drago goes for a back elbow, but Godzilla Sanchez ducks out of the way. Godzilla Sanchez drives a headsmash into the turnbuckle on Boris Drago. Godzilla Sanchez runs into the ropes, but Boris Drago locks on the Iron Curtain (A full nelson submission) on Godzilla Sanchez!!! Boris Drago thrashes Godzilla around trying to get him to tap out, but Godzilla uses his legs to wrap them around the middle rope saving himself. ]
Mike Godwinn – Smart move by Godzilla to use whatever body part that he can to get ahold of the ropes.
[ Boris Drago attempts an eye gouge, but Godzilla Sanchez blocks it. Godzilla Sanchez hits a springboard leaping swinging DDT on Boris Drago. Godzilla Sanchez goes for an Asai moonsault into an inverted DDT, but Boris Drago counters it with a snap mare suplex that folds Godzilla in half. Boris Drago runs into the ropes and goes for a lariat, but Godzilla Sanchez ducks out of the way and hits a stunner on Boris Drago. Godzilla goes for the cover as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Desperation stunner by Godzilla right there because he saw the end coming and it didn’t look pretty.
[ Godzilla Sanchez whips Boris Drago into the ropes and drives a fist into his midsection. Godzilla Sanchez hits a swinging spike DDT on Boris Drago. Godzilla Sanchez goes to the top rope and nails Boris Drago with a flying somersault splash. Godzilla Sanchez is going for the cover as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Boris kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Godzilla questions the referee thinking he got the three count, but the referee insists it was only two.
[ Boris staggers to his feet and Godzilla Sanchez goes for a running European uppercut, but Boris Drago counters it with a Spanish Fly!!! Boris rolls Godzilla up as Todd Sinclair counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Godzilla gets his shoulder up!!! ]

Time of match: 0:09:33
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Godzilla Sanchez!!!
Mike Godwinn – Great win tonight by Godzilla Sanchez as he just took down a pretty formidable opponent in Boris Drago.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This loss tonight isn’t going to do Boris any favors when it comes to the rankings. He’s going to have to find a way to reinvent himself.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, lets go to the back where Tony Tran and the Golden BoyZ are standing by with Cindy Meyers.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Cindy Meyers standing next to a pretty upset looking Tony Tran with Dave and Jake Anderson pacing around in the shadows behind him. ]
Cindy Meyers – Tony, after your celebrated win at Lethal Lottery in the “Last Chance Battle Royal”, you and the Golden BoyZ were eliminated from the World Six-man Tag Team tournament last week on Afterburn when you were defeated by Mance Warner and the Lynch Mob...
[ Tony raises his hand and Cindy shuts up... ]
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – That’s where you’re wrong Cindy. The Million Dollar Dream Team never lost to those Southern Jack-offs.
[ And Tran looks over at Dave Anderson who looks back at him questioningly... ]
Dave Anderson – What? It wasn’t my fault!!!
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – Not your fault? Of course, it was your fault!!! I specifically told you to stay away from the chili and you ate it anyway!!! You never listen to me...
Dave Anderson – Tony...
[ But Tony looks away pissed off as he turns back toward Cindy... ]
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – As I was saying... we didn’t lose to Mance and his band of hicks... Kahagas did.
Cindy Meyers – Actually, everyone thought that the only bright spot of the match was when Kahagas was in the ring.
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – You’re kidding right? This is supposed to be funny? Some kind of ha-ha joke?
Cindy Meyers – No seriously.
[ Just then, Travis Blake and the Guerillas of Destiney walk onto the set. ]
[ Tran slides down his sunglasses toward the base of his nose as he and Travis get right in each-other’s faces. Travis grins at Tran... ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Man, tough break there; boss. Losing to the Southern Rebels like you did... well that just got you and your boys booted off the pay per view. That’s gotta hurt really bad. Hahaha.
[ Tony takes his sunglasses off and smiles at Travis. ]
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – You know Travis, when I look at you I see a younger version of myself.
[ Tran gets right in Travis’ face bumping foreheads... ]
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – A cheap dumbed down version of the original!!!
[ Travis chuckles... ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – Tony, I respect you for what you’ve done in your career. Hell, not everyone can get down into the shit as deep as you did to restart your career. But we all know that guys like you are just hanging on, doing everything they can to hold onto that one last glimmer of hope before it’s over!!!
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – It’s over when I say it’s over and it’s far from over.
[ Travis smiles... ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – I think Tony... it’s closer than you think. In-fact, why don’t we settle this man to man tonight.
[ Tony looks at him like he doesn’t trust him. ]
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – What do you want?
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake - In our match tonight, why don’t we tell our boys to stay in the back so that you and I can see just who is the better leader of our groups. It’s either you... or me... and I’m betting everything on me!!!
[ Travis smiles as he backs off, arms out wide with a shit eating grin on his face... ]
“The Face of the Empire” Travis Blake – What do you say boss?
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – Just you and me? You’re on!!!
[ Jake Anderson leans in... ]
Jake Anderson – You think this is a good idea?
“The Million Dollar Man” Tony Tran – Don’t worry... I’ve got this!!!
[ The show swings back to Pezzer and Mike at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – Now that’s a big stipulation for tonight’s match between Travis Blake and Tony Tran as they both have agreed to keep their partners backstage.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – We are going to see these two leaders go at it just like it should be, but you know as well as I do you can’t trust either of them. The first chance they get they are going to screw each other over.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time for tag team action as the Lynch Mob takes on the Chain Gang!!! Let’s rejoin JoJo Rodriguez already in the ring!!!
The Lynch Mob vs The Chain Gang
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following tag team match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making their way to the ring accompanied by Mance Warner, weighing in at a combined weight of 433 lbs.; Joey and Matt Lynch; they are… The Lynch Mob!!!
[ A mixture of cheers and boos ring out as “War” by Lynch Mob explodes across the stadium as the two brawling brothers march out on stage followed by their friend Mance. They high five each other and race down to the ring diving under the bottom ropes. ]
Mike Godwinn – The Lynch Mob come into this match ranked fourth in the tag team division with an eight and four record. A win tonight will push them ahead of the Guerillas of Destiny by mere percentage points.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Let’s be blunt, this is a win that both of these teams need tonight. The Guerillas didn’t do themselves any favors Monday night when they lost to Yomi-no-Kuni and in-fact, it just drove them further away from a title shot.
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents. Making their way to the ring being accompanied by their manager Salena, weighing in at a combined weight of 494 lbs.; Jake Owens and Eddie O’Shay, they are… the Chain Gang!!!
[ The crowd goes crazy booing as Eddie O’Shay and Jake Owens storm out on stage draped in steel chains with Salena between them all dressed in black to the music of “Chain Gang” by Crxsh. The fans boo and hiss at them as they march down to the ring and climb in. Salena stays ringside as the two men pose on the turnbuckles. ]
Mike Godwinn – What a roller coaster ride for these two men even though they held the World Tag Team titles for one hundred and twenty-five days. They desperately need to pick up a win tonight because they find themselves ranked sixth out of eight teams with a meager seven and nine record. That’s not very good for a team that held the Tag titles for so long.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This team needs a wake-up call and it starts with leadership. Salena has done nothing for them in my opinion. If they lose tonight, they need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and maybe shake the tree a bit.
[ They lock up and Eddie O'Shay kicks Matt Lynch. Eddie O'Shay chops Matt Lynch. Eddie O'Shay drives a headbutt into Matt Lynch. Eddie O'Shay chops Matt Lynch. Eddie O'Shay kicks Matt Lynch. Eddie O'Shay attempts a chokehold, but Matt Lynch counters it with a facerake. Matt Lynch attempts a spear, but Eddie O'Shay counters it with a kick to the head. Eddie O'Shay runs into the ropes and they each get hit with a double clothesline. Eddie O'Shay tries for another headbutt, but Matt Lynch blocks it. Matt Lynch runs into the ropes and clotheslines Eddie O'Shay. Matt Lynch tries for an armdrag takedown, but Eddie O'Shay counters it with a lariat. Eddie O'Shay tags out to Jake Owens. Jake Owens and Eddie O'Shay whip Matt Lynch into the ropes and they hit Matt Lynch with a double fist to the midsection. Jake Owens and Eddie O'Shay whip Matt Lynch into the ropes and they hit Matt Lynch with a double kick to the midsection. Eddie O'Shay leaves the ring. Jake Owens takes Matt Lynch down with a snap takeover suplex. Jake Owens runs into the ropes and hits Matt Lynch with a back elbow. Eddie O'Shay enters the ring to make it two-on-one. Joey Lynch enters the ring and throws Eddie O'Shay out of the ring. Matt Lynch and Joey Lynch whip Jake Owens into the ropes and they hit Jake Owens with a double elbowsmash. Joey Lynch leaves the ring. Matt Lynch hits a top rope diving elbowsmash onto Jake Owens. Matt Lynch is going for the cover as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Jake Owens kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Both of these teams are going right at each other not leaving anything on the table!!! They both know just how desperate the other team is!!!
[ Matt Lynch goes for a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles, but Jake Owens blocks it. Jake Owens tries for a waistlock takedown, but Matt Lynch counters it with a backward heel kick. Matt Lynch tags out to Joey Lynch. Joey Lynch and Matt Lynch whip Jake Owens into the ropes and they hit Jake Owens with a double dropkick. Eddie O'Shay enters the ring, but gets cut off. Joey Lynch and Matt Lynch whip Jake Owens into the ropes and they hit Jake Owens with a double kick to the midsection. Eddie O'Shay gets back up, but gets cut off. Matt Lynch hits a Death Valley Driver on Jake Owens. Joey Lynch attempts a top rope diving elbowsmash, but Jake Owens ducks out of the way. Matt Lynch leaves the ring. Jake Owens puts Joey Lynch in a sleeperhold, but Joey Lynch grabs the ropes. Jake Owens goes for a facerake, but Joey Lynch delivers a knife edge chop into Jake Owens. Joey Lynch runs into the ropes and Salena trips him up sending him faceplanting down to the mat!!! Referee Joey Jiles sees this and calls for the DQ!!! ]
Time of match: 0:03:03
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match by disqualification, the Lynch Mob!!!
[ The Chain Gang can’t believe what just happened as the Lynch Mob just walked away with a quick DQ victory!!! Salena climbs into the ring trying to beg the referee to restart the match, but he refuses as he leaves the ring. ]
Mike Godwinn – What a disappointing loss for the Chain Gang tonight as this loss was totally out of their control. I still can’t figure out why she did that. Why did she intervene in the match when this match was still in its infant stages?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – All I can think of is that she’s feeling just as desperate as the Chain Gang are. She must be feeling the pressure to do something to get her guys the win tonight. The problem is, she pulled the trigger way to early in the match. She should have waited until they were in trouble or when the referee had his back turned.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, we have huge news regarding the Women’s Tag Team division. Let’s head to the back where Cindy Meyers and Charli Evans are standing by. ]
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Cindy Meyers standing next to a very happy Charli Evans. ]
Cindy Meyers – Charli, we were told that you had some breaking news regarding the tag team division? Go head and fill us in.
“The MVP” Charli Evans – Thanks Cindy. As you all saw last week on Afterburn, Millie and I decided to part ways... she moving on to continue her career in singles action and I... well I had the daunting task of rebuilding our tag team. But I didn’t want to rebuild Medusa Complex. The history books will always mark Millie and I as the three-time Women’s World Tag Team Champions and that’s something nobody can ever take from us. So, whomever I picked as a new partner; it was understood that we were going to create our own history. Our own path back to the Women’s World Tag Team titles.
Cindy Meyers – So... don’t leave us waiting... did you pick a new tag team partner?
“The MVP” Charli Evans – Yes, I did; and she’s here tonight!!! My new tag team partner... Jessica Troy!!!
[ The crowd goes nuts as the Australian superstar Jessica Troy walks onto the set. ]
Cindy Meyers – Jessica Troy, welcome to the Empire. This must be mind-blowing for you as you get to tag team with one of the best tag team technicians in Charli Evans?
Jessica Troy – This is an incredible opportunity that I have been handed. Tagging with Charli in the wake of Medusa Complex breaking up is both sad and amazing. It’s sad that we will never get to see Medusa Complex in the ring again, but it’s amazing that I get the chance to make my own history with Charli. It literally is a dream come true.
[ The crowd boos as the Mean Girls walk onto the set laughing. ]
Jessica McKay – Oh how utterly heart-wrenching that we will never be able to see Millie and Charli wrestle again!!!
Cassie Lee – It crushes me that Medusa Complex won’t be handed another Tag Team title shot!!! It must suck to be just handed things instead of earning them like the rest of us.
[ Charli gets right in Cassie’s face. ]

Mike Godwinn – If Gail thought her hands were full before, things just got even crazier. Folks, during the match our camera crew caught up with the Chain Gang and Salena backstage. Let’s go back and listen in.

“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Yeah, you can really see the frustration in Hopkins as he feels like he’s been holding the fort down all alone since Prophet went on his self-imposed exile or whatever the hell that he’s calling these days. To be a good leader, he should have sucked up that loss, circled the wagons; and have taken the fight right at Legacy. Instead, he tucked tail and buried his head in the sand. “The Living Legend” Pezzer – Millie has a great mixture of power and technical prowess, and what kills me is that she is only twenty-one years old. Other than Milia Hosaka, our core group of female superstars are very young with an average age of about thirty-two
Mike Godwinn – There are some young women on this roster that are going to be here for a long time. I can’t wait to see their careers develop. Speaking of careers developing, another fairly young superstar is Maria Manic who last we watched wrestled Holidead to a time limit draw. Let’s go to the back and see what happened during the match.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Maria Manic walking down the halls backstage. She stops in-front of an office door with the name Gail Kim on it. She takes a deep breath and pounds on the door with her fist. The door swings open and there stands the Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim. ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Maria, what a pleasant surprise. How can I help you?
[ Maria stands there, arms crossed with a determined look on her face. ]
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – Last week on Afterburn, I fought Holidead to a time-limit draw.
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – I know. It was a great match. You should be proud of your performance.
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – That’s the thing. I’m not. There’s nothing about a time-limit draw that I find proud of.
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Listen, I know you want to win every match; but sometimes you need to take what comes to you and be happy with that.
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – Would you be happy with being ranked dead last in the women’s division? Would you be happy with a six and ten record?
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – No... I wouldn’t.
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – Gail, I faced Amber for the Women’s World title at Undisputed back in March and my career has been a downward spiral of shit ever since.
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – I wouldn’t say it was all bad. You did hold the Women’s National title for two months. That’s a hell of an achievement.
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – Listen, I know I may be reaching; but I need to wrestle Holidead again. Give me a shot at her on Adrenaline.
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Maria... I don’t know...
“The Man-eater” Maria Manic – Please Gail... give me a shot.
[ Gail pauses... thinks for a second and nods her head yes... ]
The Women’s Division General Manager Gail Kim – Ok, fine Maria. But if things go wrong... don’t blame me.
[ Maria winks at Gail and walks off as the show goes back to Pezzer and Mike at the announcers table. ]
Mike Godwinn – I have to ask Pezzer, is Maria reaching right now asking for a rematch with Holidead?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – I think deep down inside Maria is panicking a little. She looks up at the rankings and sees herself dead last and that can weigh on any superstar mentally. She’s desperate for a win because she knows at the end of the year when the cut line comes again, she wants to be nowhere near it.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, it’s time for another World Six-man Tag Team tournament match-up as Sensha-gun takes on Prophecy. Earlier tonight we heard from Prophet and we also watched as Tank attacked Travis Blake. Which way do you see this match going?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – These are two powerful teams, both headed in the right direction; but are on an unfortunate collision course tonight. Only one of these teams can move on to the pay per view, and I have no idea which team is going to step up tonight. I’m just going to sit back and watch it like the rest of you.
Mike Godwinn – Folks, this one should be good. Let’s get right to the action. JoJo, take it away girl.
Sensha-gun vs The Prophecy
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The following six-man tag team match is set for one fall with a twenty-minute time limit. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 756 lbs., the United States Heavyweight Champion Tank Edge along with Shinigami Shogun and Rasputin Ito, they are… Sensha-gun!!!
[ The crowd goes crazy as “Tubular Bells” by Mike Oldfield rocks the arena as the two Japanese superstars make their way down to the ring followed by the legend Tank Edge who has his new United States Heavyweight title around his waist and his Gauntlet of the Gods on his right hand. ]
Mike Godwinn – These three men have been on the quest for gold for a few months now ever since arriving here from Japan. With a win tonight, they will move on to Stable Wars to face Godzilla’s team Edge Legacy.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Can you just imagine the kind of match we would see if Tank had to face his son Conner. Who would these wrestling marks cheer for?
“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – And their opponents. Making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 660 lbs., he is “The Chosen One”!!! “The Modern-Day Messiah” Prophet! and his Zealots …Painkiller and Insanity, they are… the Prophecy!!!
[ The crowd goes ape-shit booing as the arena goes dark and pyro explodes before “The Power of I and I” by Shadows Fall explodes across the arena. The red spotlight beams down to the center of the stage where Prophet stands, arms out wide showing off his book in hand. His Zealots, Painkiller and Insanity stand beside him as they walk down to the ring and climb in. ]
Mike Godwinn – And here is the former World Champion Prophet making his first in-ring appearance since losing his World title to Go-D a few weeks ago at Lethal Lottery.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – As much as I appreciate a good title change, this guy did get robbed just like the Chain Gang and Psycho Messiah did. Highway robbery if you ask me.
[ The bell rings and Painkiller unmercifully launches Rasputin Ito across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex. Painkiller hits a bridging Exploder suplex on Rasputin Ito as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...and Ito kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Painkiller didn’t waste any time going right at Ito hitting him with that exploder suplex into a pinning predicament.
[ Painkiller goes for a guillotine choke, but Rasputin Ito blocks it. Rasputin Ito goes for a Cradle DDT, but Painkiller counters it with a small package roll-up as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Ito kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – It seems to me as if the Prophecy wants to end this match as quick as they can. Maybe they know the longer this match goes the more it favors Sensha-gun.
[ Painkiller hits a hair pull slam on Rasputin Ito bouncing the back of his head off the mat. Painkiller kicks Rasputin Ito. Painkiller drives a running knee strike into Rasputin Ito. Painkiller throws Rasputin Ito into the turnbuckle, but Rasputin Ito reverses it. Rasputin Ito catches Painkiller in a boot choke in the corner. Joey Jiles warns Rasputin Ito to let go. Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...3 ...4 ...and Ito let’s go before getting DQ’d. ]
Mike Godwinn – You can see the frustration on Ito’s face as he just about snapped putting that choke hold on Painkiller. He needs to use his head and not fall into a trap and cost his team the win.
[ Rasputin Ito chops Painkiller. Rasputin Ito uses a ropeburn on Painkiller. Rasputin Ito tags out to Tank. Tank and Rasputin Ito whip Painkiller into the ropes and they attempt to hit Painkiller with a double fist to the midsection, but he counters it with a jumping double clothesline. Painkiller whips Tank into the ropes and Tank hits Painkiller with an elbow of his own. Tank locks Painkiller in a sleeperhold. Painkiller grabs the ropes breaking the hold. Painkiller tags out to Insanity. Insanity goes for a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles, but Tank counters it with a back body drop; but in turn, Insanity counters it with a sunset flip pin attempt as Insanity uses the ropes for leverage and Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...and Tank gets his shoulder up!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This is like watching two heavyweights go at it like Ali and Frazier. Tyson and Holyfield. It’s an instant classic!!!
[ Insanity punches Tank. Insanity uses an armdrag takedown on Tank. Insanity drives a European uppercut into Tank. Insanity drives a spear into Tank. Painkiller enters the ring to make it two-on-one. Insanity and Painkiller whip Tank into the ropes and they hit Tank with a double clothesline. Insanity and Painkiller whip Tank into the ropes and they hit Tank with a double dropkick. Rasputin Ito goes for a Cradle DDT, but Insanity counters it with a small package roll-up as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...and Ito kicks out!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – That’s the second cradle DDT Ito went for and for a second time the Zealots have countered it with a small package roll-up. It just goes to show you how well scouted Ito is.
[ Insanity drives a fist to the midsection of Rasputin Ito. Insanity goes for a diving elbowsmash, but Rasputin Ito counters it with an interceptor superkick. Rasputin Ito punches Insanity. Rasputin Ito whips Insanity into the ropes and he locks Insanity in an abdominal stretch, but Insanity quickly reaches the ropes. Rasputin Ito tags out to Shinigami Shogun. Rasputin Ito drives a clothesline into Insanity. Shinigami Shogun goes for a backslide pin attempt, but Insanity reverses it into a pin attempt of his own as Joey Jiles counts ...1 ...2 ...2 ½ ...and Shogun kicks out!!! ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – These two teams are so evenly matched that it’s going to take something outside the box to get either team the win tonight.
[ Rasputin Ito leaves the ring. Insanity runs into the ropes, but Shinigami Shogun hits Insanity with a back body drop that sends Insanity tumbling out of the ring. Cindy Meyers – Earlier tonight, we all saw Amber spout off about the women on the roster and how none of you are worthy of taking her on let alone holding the Women’s World title. How does that make you feel?
Kiera Hogan – I could care less about how Amber feels, at least not until I plant my foot up her ass; and then she can bitch and moan all she wants.

[ Kiera leans against the ropes wondering what the hell she wants as Lady Edge climbs the ring steps and steps through the ropes. Yali Sapphire disqualifies Amber Nova!!! ]
Mike Godwinn – Things are going to get really interesting right now!!!
[ Amber gets to her feet as Yali tries to use the ropes to stand up. Amber marches right over to Lady Edge who has a huge grin on her face as Amber goes nose to nose with her. ]
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – It looks like these two aren’t going to wait until the pay per view!!! They are going to go at it right now!!!
[ Yali attempts to get Lady Edge out of the ring as Kiera walks over and gets between them. Lady Edge looks at Kiera, then at Amber... then back at Kiera, before she kicks Kiera in the gut doubling her over and hits a stunner on her knocking her out!!! ]

Mike Godwinn – Folks, that’s all for tonight. We will see you back here Monday night on Adrenaline!!!
Epilogue
[ Backstage we see Mance Warner walking through the halls with a six-pack of beer in his right hand and a half drunk beer in his left hand. He turns the corner and see Salena sitting on the floor, hair a mess and her make-up running due to all the crying she’s done. ]
[ Mance walks up to her... ]
“The Southern Psychopath” Mance Warner – You ok little lady?
[ Salena looks up at him like he’s nuts... ]
“The Manager of Champions” Salena – Do I look ok to you?
[ Mance looks at her and nods... ]
“The Southern Psychopath” Mance Warner – I seen worse.
“The Manager of Champions” Salena – I bet you have.
[ Mance isn’t sure how to take that. ]
“The Southern Psychopath” Mance Warner – You wanna beer?
“The Manager of Champions” Salena - Do I look like a beer kinda girl?
[ Mance reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small flask. ]
“The Southern Psychopath” Mance Warner – Will this do?
[ Salena snickers as she reaches out and takes the flask from him and stands up. She takes the top off and Mance watches as she drinks the whole damn thing. Salena then looks him up and down... ]
“The Manager of Champions” Salena – Fuck it.
[ She takes the beer from Mance and drinks some of it as she leads him to a nearby supply closet and then go inside closing the door behind them. Minutes later Godzilla Sanchez walks by and hears moans and groans coming from the closet. He leans close to the door and he jumps back as the pounding against the door gets louder and louder and the moans and groans get louder and louder. After a few minutes, the door swings open and Salena stumbles out, her hair a disheveled mess and her dress hiked up halfway up her ass. Mance stumbles out and he has lipstick smeared all over his face as he tries to buckle up his pants, struggling to get his zipper up. Salena sees Godzilla standing there trying to act like they can’t see him. Salena brushes a stray strand of hair from her eyes... ]
“The Manager of Champions” Salena – You didn’t see anything... are we clear?
[ Godzilla smiles as he repeatedly nods his head yes with a cheesy smile on his face as Salena walks off. Mance walks over to Godzilla and the two men smile at each other... ]

Godzilla Sanchez goes for a springboard diving European uppercut, but Boris Drago steps out of the way.
“The MVP” Charli Evans – Are you accusing us of being handed the Women’s World Tag Team titles?
Jessica McKay – You need to back off sister, your breath could kill someone!!!
Jessica Troy – The two of you have a problem with us, why don’t we settle this out there!!!
[ And Jessica Troy motions toward the ring... ]
Cassie Lee – Well aren’t you just a little spit fire!!! What got your panties in a bunch?
[ The crowd pops as the General Manager of the Women’s Division Gail Kim walks onto the set. ]
The General Manager of the Women’s Division Gail Kim – You know what... I think that’s a great idea.

[ The camera shot pans back to Mike and Pezzer at ringside. ]
Mike Godwinn – What a huge match just added to next Monday night’s Adrenaline card as we will see the brand-new Blue Nation taking on the Mean Girls in tag team action.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – The Mean Girls are not making any friends right now as they have faced off with both the Women’s World Tag Team Champions Spice and Katie Forbes now along with Jessica Troy and Charli Evans. They are playing the nasty girl persona to a tee.
Mike Godwinn – Sometimes I wonder if it’s all Kayfabe or if it’s really how these two women act and feel. How can anyone walk around all day long being that mean and nasty!!! Folks, it’s time to get back to the action as we are about to see the number one contender the Heartbreakers taking on the former two-time Women’s World Tag Team Champions Caged Heat!!!

“The Living Legend” Pezzer – This just shook up the pay per view right to its core as we have no clue now who is going to challenge S.E.X. for the Women’s World Tag Team championship. Hell, I would say the Mean Girls even have dibs at it since they really didn’t get beaten by S.E.X. either!!!
Mike Godwinn – If Gail thought her hands were full before, things just got even crazier. Folks, during the match our camera crew caught up with the Chain Gang and Salena backstage. Let’s go back and listen in.
[ The videotron comes on as it shows Eddie O’Shay and Jake Owens along with Salena in their dressing room. ]

Mike Godwinn – Pezzer, is it me or can you already see the cracks starting to form in the foundation of the Prophecy?
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – Yeah, you can really see the frustration in Hopkins as he feels like he’s been holding the fort down all alone since Prophet went on his self-imposed exile or whatever the hell that he’s calling these days. To be a good leader, he should have sucked up that loss, circled the wagons; and have taken the fight right at Legacy. Instead, he tucked tail and buried his head in the sand. Talk about a loser in my book!!!

“Party in the Back” JoJo Rodriguez – The winner of this match, Millie McKenzie!!!
Mike Godwinn – Another great win by the “Queen of the Ring” Millie McKenzie as she just defeated one of the top ranked women on the Empires roster. This should keep her in contention for another World title shot in the near future.
[ Insanity drives a fist to the midsection of Rasputin Ito. Insanity goes for a diving elbowsmash, but Rasputin Ito counters it with an interceptor superkick. Rasputin Ito punches Insanity.

She flaunts herself off as she struts down to the ring and climbs in raising both titles high overhead. ]
Mike Godwinn – Amber comes into this match with an outstanding sixteen and three record and she holds both of the Women’s titles here in the Empire. She is the first women to do such a feat since the Empires relaunch and she is also the first wrestler... male or female... to get to sixteen wins.
“The Living Legend” Pezzer – That’s right Mikey. She’s the modern-day version of Tank to be honest. The next closest goes to Chandler Hopkins and Tito Escobar who are both tied with twelve wins. What she has done for not just the Women’s division, but the Empire in a whole is unfathomable.
