We open as Greyson Suave is sitting in what looks like a super comfy, expensive chair. Behind him the Mean Girls are getting massaged as he is watching TV.
Jessica McKay- Grey, baby, your missing massage time, turn off the TV.
Greyson Suave- Baby, I can get massaged anytime, this documentary is about to get to me.
We now see he's watching Dark Side of the Ring, just like Maverick is in another country.
Narrator- It was around this time, Tank would gain a new family member.
Tank Edge- Through the wrestling school, I met a nice girl, who was a bit younger than me, who wanted to be a manager, and soon after became my girlfriend and second wife.
A knockout red head appears on the screen.
Missy Moonlight- I'm Melissa Ness, Tank's ex wife, currently married to New Japan star Ness. Um, yeah I liked wrestling but was never the wrestling sort, but I had a great figure so I went and asked about managing. Tank was a really sweet guy and a very dedicated father, it was impossible not to fall in love with him.
Narrator- Around this time, Tank made his return to the ring having convinced Mick Elwood to move WCCWF to SoCal. He quickly was established as the top star with Missy Moonlight as his manager.
Missy Moonlight- Being on TV lead to me becoming popular and my best friend from high school, Josefina, appeared one day with her 8 year old son to try and get a job with Tank at the bar or something. It was so sweet, Tank met her son and they bonded super fast talking about Godzilla movies that the little kid was obsessed with.
Godzilla Sanchez appears on the screen in his old gimmick.
Greyson Suave- Ugh, I wish they could have re-filmed this.
Godzilla Sanchez- My name is Escobar Sanchez, I'm known as Godzilla Sanchez in wrestling. My mom had me when she was 14, um and her parents kicked her out. We spent most my early life bouncing from shelter to shelter, or just sleeping on the street. I had no family at that point but her, and then here comes Tank and he took us in.
Narrator- Tank took in the young women and her son and hired her as nanny to his then ten year old daughter, letting her and her son move into the extra house on the property.
Tank Edge- I was a young, my brother was a young dad, I knew how hard it could be with support, and this girl just needed one person to be fucking nice to her and her kid, I was so lucky where I was in life, I spread the wealth as they say.
Narrator- Josefina and Escobar became family to all the Edge clan and things were never better for Tank on that front.
Falcon Edge- Yeah Tank seemed happy with the rebuilt family, I was also in a good place, since we were in Southern California my name was a little more well known so I was a draw and suddenly my wife comes back, and we had another kid and things seemed alright.
Maverick Edge- I was 14 or so at this time, and suddenly things in the business went south, Elwood was skimming money or something and suddenly my dad and Tank were out of the company, which then mom just took off with Mr.Elwood and they disappeared leaving me and dad alone. She claimed he abused her, but again I was older this time and she was just a mess. She had gotten hooked on heroin after Zelda was born and then she just disappeared with my baby sister.
Leeloo- He hit me, I don't care what anyone says. I left with Mick because he promised to take care of me and he did, for a bit, and yes I was hooked on drugs but that doesn't change anything.
Narrator- While Falcon was forced to try and track down his wife, Tank decided to manage two of his students as they had recently signed with The Empire.
Tank Edge- I didn't know if I was up to a real traveling schedule as a wrestler at that time as my neck was still giving me issues, but my students wanted me along so I went.
Narrator- Tank helped manage them to the Empire tag team titles, before having to leave due to a family emergency.
Tank Edge- I got a call from Falcon one day, and he told me that Josefina had gone to see some family in Texas, um...this is tough, her parents had immigrated from Sinaloa after some issues with the cartels there. When her family, after abandoning her for years, reached out and wanted to see her, it was actually members of that cartel that were setting a trap....I don't want to get into details but they murdered her and a lot of her family.
Godzilla Sanchez- Um....I was 13 and I have Tank and Falcon come and tell me about my mom. I was supposed to go with her, but I guess luckily mom decided I shouldn't miss school and she wanted to make sure the family actually was going to accept me. That was tough.
Tank Edge- And around this time, I needed to take the time off to help the kid and be there for him, and thats when my wife left me for my student.
Narrator- Missy Moonlight became the manager of the tag champions, but when an injury forced Vito Capone out of action, Ness became the top star in the crusierweight division, during her time managing him, they fell in love.
Missy Moonlight- I guess I could blame my age, but the heart wants I guess. I was gutted to leave Tank at such a bad time, but
The TV suddenly clicks off and we see Greyson with tears streaming down his face.
Greyson Suave- Those bastards glazed over my mommy's death for this shit? Do they not understand what losing your mom to a cartel does to a human inside.
Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee don't seem to have any words for Greyson.
Greyson Suave- That's fine, why do they care what became of little Escobar? Why make my story of pain and rising above it a factor when Tank got divorced again, thats the real dark side of the ring right?
Jessica McKay- Greyson, baby.
Greyson Suave- You know that's why I'm Greyson. Because I was Tank's ward, so he didn't want to call me Dick or Robin, so he started calling me Greyson. And in a lot of ways, it helped me. Escobar died with my mom, I've been Greyson ever since.
Cassie Lee- Then who is Godzilla?
Greyson Suave- Godzilla was the way I suppressed it all. Now I'm Greyson, I feel it all, no hiding from it, no one else wants to understand the pain of it, I'm going to make sure Travis Blake understands the depth of my pain. (Jessica puts a hand on his shoulder but he pushes it away) I'm going out.
He stomps off as the girls shrug and go back to their massage tables.
Jessica McKay- At least he has money.
Cassie Lee- Well said.
